The Jester's Life

Only few people close to me know my love for Art and Paintings. I can spend hours in art museum. I absolutely love it when i find a piece of art i feel very strongly about.

This time its "The Jester" by Jan Matejko - a Polish artist

There are people who like to talk and entertain people. But this requires interesting stories. But wait there is a short cut. You can always laugh on yourself. Self deprecating Humour. In Olden times these people were called Jester.

But how long. What happens when no-one needs a Jester. When the Jester wants to find the real person behind the mask. His life ahead

This Jester was employed by three Polish kings: Alexander, Sigismund the Old and Sigismund Augustus. He is the only person at a royal ball who is troubled by the news that the Russians have captured Smolensk. This event happened in 1514.)
